Our Emergency Department has emergency observation unit which are all equipped with remote monitoring systems, resuscitation resources and ventilators, to address surgical and trauma emergencies within the golden hour. Our Emergency Medicine team actively collaborates with other specialists and super-specialists seamlessly to provide the best care for our patients. All Patients and their families will be provided information and counselling from arrival to the time the patient is transferred out/discharged. 

Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a major India cause of death and disability, a damaging condition anyone can experience regardless of age, gender or race. TBI is also referred to as brain injury, head injury, brain damage, injury to the brain, head trauma.

A head injury doctor or specialist will diagnose the patient and determine if any brain injury treatment is required. Further, they may recommend a specialized course of action, such as skull fracture treatment, by conducting the following steps.

  • Physical examination to assess the severity of brain injury
  • Computerized Tomography (CT) scan of the head
  • MRI Brain if needed
  • Cognitive evaluation
  • Applying the Glasgow Coma Scale score, a tool designed to evaluate coma.
